When should I replace my filter?
Around every 60 days for a typical household — sooner if several people shower daily or your water carries a lot of sediment. A cartridge turning brown is normal: it means the first layer is catching particles. If the spray weakens noticeably or the chlorine smell comes back, it is time.
How to replace your shower head filter
1. Unscrew the handle of the shower head by hand. 2. Slide the used cartridge out. 3. Slide the new cartridge in, the same way round. 4. Screw the handle back on and run the water for 30 seconds to flush it. No tools needed, about a minute in total.
